Uncorked Wine bars and Soupa: Owner. “Enjoy every moment, conquer the moments of challenge. Laugh.” Kali Kopley was raised in Massachusetts. In 2003 she moved to North Lake Tahoe with the desire to learn how to ski. Kali promptly engaged herself in her new community, she knew had found a special place to call home. Kali seized an opportunity to open Uncorked at Squaw in 2007, an opportunity she refers to as luck, the right place at the right time. A few years later she started Soupa in Squaw Valley and opened Uncorked in Tahoe City with new partners. In 2011 Kali and her partners added two more wine-centric businesses to the region, Petra in NorthStar and Uncorked in Truckee. Kali still gets some skiing in and loves to head out on the mountain with the High Fives team as a reminder; she loves supporting the High Fives foundation. BOARD MEMBER: 2009-2013 |

Ryan Lindquist | Reno, NVGrant Selection, Executive Committee, Former Chair
Sugar Bowl: Marketing Assistant “We do the things we have to so we can do the things we want to.”Ryan is originally from Arizona, grown up on golf courses, but took his college path as a professional ski bum at Squaw Valley. Ryan's skill set includes executing high level events for Redbull, ESPN, X-Games and NBC. He is currently seeking a MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dana Greenwood | Reno, NVSecretary, Executive Committee

Growing up in North Dakota and Minnesota, Dana found his way to Lake Tahoe while earning a BS in Business Administration and International Business at Sierra Nevada College in 2001. He is now a Sales Representative for Storm Day Sales covering the entire state of California and Nevada for Tecnica Ski Boots and Blizzard Skis as the anchor brands. Tyler Lightcap | Truckee, CATreasurer, Executive Committee

Hailing from the Midwest, Tyler spent his childhood chasing his two older brothers around Rockford, Illinois. He later transitioned to the University of Iowa, spent a semester as "skipper" of the Jungle Cruise in the Walt Disney World College Program, and then proceeded to graduate. Tyler's first position after higher learning took him to the Rocky Mountains, however, a visit to the Tahoe area lured him to the Eastern Sierra. Mr. Lightcap then found himself enjoying a fruitful career at Wells Fargo and subsequently made Truckee his home. For the last five years Tyler has been facilitating growth in the community of Truckee, CA by holding securities and insurance licenses, and ultimately helping individuals and business succeed financially. After traveling the world Galen returned to meet his wife Shayla and start a family, digging his roots even deeper into the North Tahoe/Truckee/Reno area. Galen is President and Co-Founder of Big Truck Headwear and works as a Manager for Olympic Athlete Julia Mancuso. Working with The High Fives Foundation and President Roy Tuscany to raise awareness and money for injured athletes who have suffered a life altering injury has become a priority and passion. Bill Hudson | Squaw Valley USA, CAFinancial Committee
Sugar Bowl Ski Team Foundation: Executive Committee “I feel super fortunate to be part of an organization that helps passionate individuals live passionate lives. And I am proud to be a member of a community full of people who always do what they can to help others who are less fortunate.” Bill Hudson was raised in Squaw Valley, California. An eight year U.S. Ski Team member, national combined champion, x-games silver medalist, and 1988 Olympic Team Member, skiing is in his blood, as his mother (Sally) was also an Olympian (Oslo, 1952). In addition to the High Fives board, Bill is a current or past board member of a number of local non-profits. He is the Executive Director of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team Foundation, overseeing the Sugar Bowl Ski Academy and Sugar Bowl Ski Team. After falling in love with her husband and the beautiful Sierra rock, she finally broke the news to her family that she would be getting a California driver's license. She has two creative children that make her laugh as much as her crazy husband. Ryan Williams | Truckee, CAFinancial Committee
Northwestern Mutual: Financial Representative “Adversity builds character and strength...live in the now and keep on keeping on.” Ryan Williams has been a staple in the Truckee community for past decade helping businesses and families create financial security with investments, life insurance and disability insurance with Northwestern Mutual. He moved to Truckee in 1995 as a professional snowboarder for Burton Snowboards, and became an X Games medalist by 1998, while featured in Warren Miller and Standard Films movies and dozens of international publications. He was fortunate to meet his wife Natalia, who was on the Burton team at the same time, and today they enjoy the Truckee community with their six year old daughter. Recognized for community involvement, Ryan Williams is a proud partner of High Fives Non-Profit Foundation, Board Director of Kidzone Museum, Tahoe Forest Hospital Sports Medicine/Orthopedic Advisory Board Member and Rotarian.
